Dear Rogers Families,

I hope this newsletter finds you all in good spirits as we get ready to conclude another exciting week here at Rogers Elementary. It's been wonderful to see the enthusiasm and engagement from our community in recent events, and I'm thrilled to share some highlights with you all.

First, a heartfelt thank you goes out to Liz Hagar for her outstanding work organizing the Father-Daughter Dance. The event was a tremendous success and provided cherished memories for our families. Your dedication to creating such a fun-filled evening is genuinely appreciated, Liz!

As we eagerly anticipate the upcoming Spring Fling this Saturday, I'd like to extend a special appreciation to Maria Pattengill, Tracy Czapla, and Julie McNamara for their hard work in putting together what promises to be another fantastic event. Your efforts in organizing these community gatherings are invaluable and contribute significantly to the vibrant spirit of our school.

I invite you to join us for Coffee with Keenoy and Cara on April 18th. This event will mark the inaugural installment of Rogers Parent University, where we will delve into the seven character traits that set thriving kids apart. I believe this will be a wonderful learning opportunity for all of us, and I encourage you to attend.

This week, we welcomed some of our incoming kindergarten students during a special playdate sponsored by Parents as Teachers. Meeting our future Bears was an absolute delight, and we look forward to welcoming them officially in the fall.

Lastly, I want to thank everyone who has turned in their class placement surveys. Your input is invaluable as we work to create the best possible learning environment for our students.

As always, it is an honor and a privilege to serve as principal of such a dedicated and supportive school community. Thank you for everything you do to make Rogers Elementary a special place for our students and families.

Your partner in education,

Patrick
